How to Make Easy Aloo Paratha

  • Cut the onions into very fine pieces.
  • Mash the boiled potatoes using a fork, and add the cumin seeds to it and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and saute the onions for 2 minutes.
  • Add to the mashed potato mixture to this and mix well.
  • Add the sambar powder, salt, ginger-garlic, garam masala, chopped coriander leaves and mix well with mashed potatoes and keep it on low flame for 3 mins.
  • Allow it to cool and then add the lemon juice.
  • Knead the whole wheat flour with water.
  • Take small ball-sized dough and roll it into a thick roti.
  • Place a tbsp of masala in the centre and cover the edges. Roll it gently again.
  • Heat a tava and shallow fry the parathas – smearing ghee on both sides.
  • Serve hot.
